Considered by many as one of the most beautiful places in India, the Valley of Flowers tucked into the hills of the Garhwal Himalayas is a nature lover's dream come true. During the months of July and August, innumerable flowers of various shapes, sizes and hues adorn the valley creating a veritable multi-colored carpet. The valley is home to over 300 Colorful species including Morinas, Himalayan Blue Poppy, Brahma Kamal, Potentilla, Aster, Lilies etc.
British mountaineer Frank Smythe stumbled upon the Valley of Flowers in 1931. ‘In all my mountain wandering,’ he wrote, ‘I have not seen a more beautiful valley where the human spirit may find repose'. It’s in the core zone of Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve. A colossal expanse of 87.5 sq kms and myriad alpine flowers makes this place a colorful paradise. Perched at an altitude of 12070 feet above sea level, Bhyundar Valley is the home to this surreal place.
It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 1: Arrival Dehradun - Proceed to Shivpuri | Overnight at Shivpuri
Approximate distance/ Travel time : 33 kms/ 1-2 hrs
Assemble at Dehradun Airport at 3 PM. Transfers to Shivpuri (Rishikesh). Evening at Leisure.
Overnight in hotel at Shivpuri.
Meals: Evening Tea & Dinner
Day 2: Shivpuri - Joshimath | Overnight at Joshimath
Approximate distance / Travel time : 236 kms / 9-10 hrs
Proceed to Joshimath by road. This picturesque drive is alongside River Ganga & Alaknanda & we will take small photography break at Devprayag. Other “Prayags” that we will see en route would be Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandprayag & Vishnuprayag. Lunch will be en route.

Day 3: Joshimath Govind Ghat - Pulna - Ghangaria | Overnight at Ghangaria
Approximate distance / Travel time : 20 kms / 40 mins (Drive)
Trek distance / time : 11 kms / 7-8 hrs
Post an early breakfast & registration formalities at Govindghat, we board local jeeps & drive to the small village called Pulna which is a starting point of our trek. Today's trek will be long but scenic, along the Pushpawati River. Lunch will be en route. Reach Ghangaria by late afternoon.

Day 4: Ghangaria - Valley of Flowers (12,000 ft.) - Ghangaria | Overnight at Ghangaria.
Trek distance / time : 11 kms / 7-8 hrs
Post an early breakfast , we start for the most awaited trek, the valley of flowers. Today’s trek will take us through the most scenic mountains and valleys. Stop along the way to take photos and enjoy the majestic beauty of the snow-capped peaks. Enjoy lunch (packed) inside the National Park.
Return to Ghangaria by late afternoon.

Day 5: Ghangaria - Hemkund (14,200 ft.) - Ghangaria | 12 Kms., 9-10 Hours Trek | Overnight at Ghangaria.
Trek distance / time : 12 kms / 9-10 hrs
Today we visit the holy Hemkund Sahib. We start our trek early and reach Hemkund - a glacial lake surrounded by seven mountain peaks. It is located at an elevation of 14,200 feet.
This trek route is more difficult than of Valley Of Flowers but definitely worth the efforts as we will have the opportunity to see the elusive Brahmakamal, a beautiful flower which is not seen in the Valley.
Return to Ghangaria by evening.

Day 6: Ghangaria - Govindghat - Auli | Overnight at Auli
Trek distance / time : 11 kms / 5-6 hrs
Distance/ Travel time : 50 kms / 1.5 hrs Drive
Today we descend back to Govindghat. Packed Lunch en route. Drive from Govindghat to Auli. Time permitting visit to Auli Top (By Rope-way if available). Freshen up and rest.

Day 7: Auli - Shivpuri | Overnight at Shivpuri
Trek distance / time : 3 kms / 3-4 hrs
Go on an optional trek to Gurson Meadows. Overnight at Auli./ Shivpuri.

Day 8: Auli - Shivpuri | Overnight at Shivpuri
Approximate distance / Travel time : 240 kms / 8-9 hrs (Drive)
Post breakfast, drive to Shivpuri. Lunch will be en route. Reach Shivpuri by evening. Freshen up and rest. Enjoy a slowdown evening.

Day 9 : Shivpuri - Dehradun Airport - Fly Out | Tour Ends
