A trek that than spans only 4 days in Auli, arguably the Skiing capital of India, coupled with the fact that the stays are going to be in very comfortable lodges, makes it an ideal trek for someone who wants to have a snow-experience but not ready to compromise on urban comforts.
While on the trail, witness the majestic views of India’s second highest mountain peak, Mt. Nanda Devi, as well as enjoy your cup of tea at the lodge looking at the mighty Himalayan ranges.
This trek is located around Joshimath and Auli in the state of Uttarakhand. The drive from Haridwar to Joshimath is beautiful and runs along the banks of Ganga and Alaknanda.

Day 1 : Overnight to Haridwar
Arrive at Delhi and head overnight to Haridwar.
Day 2 : Haridwar - Auli (2450m) | 280 km | 8-9 hours drive | Overnight at Auli
From Haridwar, we will start for Auli in a private vehicle. The drive passes through the holy towns of Haridwar and Rishikesh and the four out of the Panch-Prayags, namely- Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag and Nandprayag. The route runs along the banks of Ganges at first and later along the Alaknanda river.
Arrive in the lodge by evening and soak in the beautiful views of the Alaknanda valley and the mighty snow-clad peaks of the Himalayas. Depending on the time of arrival, you could take a walk in the apple orchards that encircles the lodge or relax in the lodge itself.
Overnight stay at Auli.
Day 3 : Auli - Parsari (3000m) - ITBP - Auli | 4-5 hours trek | Overnight at Auli
After breakfast, we will begin our day hike to the beautiful village of Parsari and ITBP camp.
By afternoon we will reach back to Auli.
During the trek, you would have wonderful views of the mighty Himalayan giants, including Nanda Devi (India’s second highest peak), and sweeping views of Auli, the Joshimath town and the Alaknanda valley.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay at Auli.
Day 4 : Auli - Gurson meadows (3350m) - Auli | 5-6 hours trek | Overnight at Auli
In the morning we will drive to Auli and further will take a cable car ride to reach the topmost level of the cable car. From there we will start our trek towards Gurson top. Gurson top offers an extraordinary view of the great Nanda Devi. After some time at the top, we will return to the lodge by afternoon and have rest.
Overnight stay at Auli.
Day 5 : Auli - Dhak | 1.5 hrs drive | Khullara - Auli | 7-8 hours trek | Overnight at Auli
Post breakfast we drive to Dhak village and from there trek towards Khullara. This is an excellent trek which will take you through the aesthetic Himalayan settlements. In the afternoon we will trek back to Dhak village and board the vehicles and then proceed towards the hot springs at Tapovan. Later we will drive back to the lodge.
Overnight stay at Auli.
Day 6 : Auli - Haridwar | 280 km | 8-9 hours drive
After breakfast, start the drive to Haridwar. Arrive at Haridwar in the evening and proceed for an overnight journey to Delhi.
Day 7 : Arrive at Delhi | Tour ends
Arrive at Delhi and its time to say goodbye to your fellow travelers till we meet again to share the images and memories of your time spent in the Garhwal Himalayas.
