Trek to Dayara Bugyal will give us the amazing panoramic views of the greater Himalayan range. The path leads through endless lush green meadows, which run parallel to the gigantic peaks of Garhwal Himalayas. We would hike to an alpine lake near Barnala Bugyal. The hike to a vantage point called Surya Top will present us with the view of famous peaks of Kalanag or Black Peak, Bandarpunch, Jaonli, Draupadi ka danda as well as many other un-climbed peaks.
This trek is through various shades of oaks and rhododendrons that end in the stunning open pasture lands of Dayara Bugyal. Lots of amazing views and lots of pleasant time will surely make this trip a memorable one. Return back refreshed and feeling rejuvenated.

Note: The trek is scheduled from 7th to 13th May (Dehradun to Dehradun). However, you will need to arrive in Dehradun on 6th May and stay overnight before the trek begins. Similarly, after the trek concludes on 13th May, an overnight stay in Dehradun is required for the night of 13th May before departing on 14th May.
We recommend booking your flights accordingly—arriving on 6th May and departing on 14th May.

Day 1: Delhi - Dehradun
Assemble in Delhi (Railway Station / Volvo Point) at 9 pm
Overnight travel by Train / Volvo to Dehradun.

Day 2: Dehradun - Barsu (2280m)
Travel Distance / Time: 190 kms / 6-7 Hrs
Reach Dehradun in the morning.
We will board our chartered vehicle and be driven up to Barsu. Lunch en route.
Reach Barsu and check in into the hotel. A briefing of the trek will be followed by an evening at leisure.
Overnight at Barsu (Hotel).

Day 3: Barsu - Barnala (2995m)
Trek Distance / Time: 4 kms / 2-3 Hrs
After a sumptuous breakfast start climbing above the village of Barsu towards Dayara bugyal. The trek passes through beautiful forests of Oak and Rhododendron to reach the meadows at Barnala.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea & Dinner
Day 4: Barnala - Chilpada/Kyarkoti (3130m) via Dayara Bugyal (3408m)
Trek Distance / Time: 6 kms / 3-4 Hrs
Its a moderate climb from Barnala meadows to reach Dayara. The panoramic views of the Himalayas from here is breathtaking to say the least. Situated at an elevation of about 10000 feet above sea-level.
Overnight at Chilpada (Tent).
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea & Dinner
Day 5: Chilpada - Bakriya Top (3650m) - Devkund
Trek Distance / Time: 7 kms / 4-5 Hrs
From the camp at Chilpada we continue to ascend on the carpeted meadows to reach Bakriya top. This is the highest point of this beautiful meadow and lies at the edge of the meadow. We spend some time here and later commence another interesting stretch of trekking and surely one will not forget for a very long time. You walk is on absolutely green carpeted meadows towards Syari Bugyal with big mountains seemingly at touching distance.
Overnight at Devkund (Tent).

Day 6: Devkund- Surya Top (3940m) - Barsu Gera
Trek Distance / Time: 12 kms / 6-7 Hrs
Wake up to the chirping of the birds and mountains calling at you. Post breakfast we start our summit trek to Surya top. This vantage point gives us almost 360 degree views of the Himalayas with prominent peaks such as Bandarpoonch (20950 ft), Draupadi ka Danda (21186 ft), Jaonli (21780 ft), Srikanth, Gangotri I,II,III etc. Descend towards Barsu Gera. Today we will be covering maximum distance of 12 kms as most of it is going to be a descend.
Overnight at Barsu Gera (Tent).
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea & Dinner
Day 7: Barsu Gera - Barsu
Trek Distance / Time: 6 kms / 2-3 Hrs
Post breakfast start descend towards Barsu. Reach by late afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight at Barsu (Hotel).
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea & Dinner
Day 8: Barsu - Dehradun
Travel Distance / Time: 190 kms / 6-7 Hrs
Post breakfast drive to Dehradun. Lunch en route. Reach Dehradun by evening.
Overnight travel to Delhi
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea & Dinner
Day 9: Arrive at Delhi | Tour Ends
Reach Delhi (Railway Stn / Volvo Point) in the morning. (Post noon flights are suggested)

Tour ends here and time to say goodbye to your fellow campers till we meet again to share the images and memories of your time spent in Garhwal Himalayas.
