Overview

Come August, the Himalayan forests of Uttarakhand transform into a lush green wonderland, wrapped in mist—a perfect time for a serene monsoon trek in the Himalayas.

This tour is designed for those seeking slow travel in Uttarakhand—ideal for immersing in nature rather than rushing across multiple hill stations. Instead of hopping across destinations, we focus on Binsar in Uttarakhand—a serene haven of misty trails, monsoon greenery, and cloud-kissed pine forests, perfect for nature lovers and hikers.

To ease into the mountains, we begin with a night at Sattal—a scenic lakeside town surrounded by oak and pine trees. It’s a gentle start to the trip, allowing you to slow down and soak in the tranquil surroundings before heading to Binsar.

In Binsar, we stay at a beautiful eco-resort, known for its sustainable practices, warm hospitality, and stunning views of the Himalayan ranges. Our days include guided nature walks and hikes through the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, delicious meals featuring authentic Kumaoni cuisine, and relaxed evenings with like-minded travelers—perfect for reflection, photography, or simple relaxation.

This is your chance to enjoy the Himalayas in the monsoon, an offbeat season when forests are at their freshest, the air is crisp and cool, and the trails are quiet—ideal for forest walks, birdwatching, and mindful travel.

To top it off, the tour dates align with the Independence Day long weekend, meaning you'll need to take minimal leave from work—making it the perfect short Himalayan getaway.

Note: If you'd like to extend your holiday to include Nainital, Ranikhet, Jageshwar, or any other destination, we’ll be happy to customize a plan for you before or after this tour.
