Itinerary

31 March / Day 1
Arrive at Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun. Drive (1 hr) to Rishikesh.
Walk to Ram Jhula for views of the temple town and River Ganga.
Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

1 April / Day 2
After breakfast, enjoy an optional zipline adventure at Shivpuri.
Continue to Jayalgarh / Rudraprayag for overnight stay. 

2 April / Day 3
Drive via Rudraprayag to Kartik Swami Temple (3050m).
Trek (3 km one way) through rhododendron forests to the temple.
Continue to Kund and spend your evening time by the serene Mandakini River.
Overnight stay at Kund.

3 April / Day 4
After breakfast, drive to Saari village and trek to Deoria Tal (2438m, 1.5 hrs one way).
On a clear day, you will be able to see reflection of Chowkhamba Peaks in the lake-water. 
Overnight stay at Kund.

4 April / Day 5
Early breakfast and drive to Chopta (1.5 hours).
Trek through rhododendron forests to Tungnath (3680m) and Chandrashila Peak (3690m).
Tungnath is the highest Shiva Temple in the world while you will be rewarded with 360 degrees of Himalayan view from its “summit”.
Return to Kund after the trek.
Overnight stay at Kund.

5 April / Day 6
Drive to Kaudiyala for lunch. Optional river rafting adventure on the Ganga (age restrictions apply).
Overnight stay at Rishikesh. 

6 April / Day 7
Tour concludes. Depart for your onward journey.
Goodbye to the Garhwal Himalayas and fellow travelers!

What is included in the tour

  • Accommodation: Stay on double / twin-sharing basis.
  • Meals: All meals from Day 1 Dinner to Day 7 Breakfast as per the Itinerary (except at the airport)
  • Transport: By a dedicated vehicle (AC Tempo Traveler).
  • Activities: Bonfire evening under the stars.
  • Permits and Fees: Permits and Entry Fees : All applicable sightseeing and entry tickets.
  • Tour Leader: Services of an experienced tour leader throughout the trip.

What is NOT included in the tour

Airfare: Flights to and from Delhi.
Meals : Meals during train, flight journeys and in Delhi.
Personal Expenses: Tips, laundry, phone calls, or any personal expenses.
Travel Insurance: Not included; recommended to be purchased separately.
