Other mammals like the Leopard, Sloth Bear, Wild Dog, Wild Boar, Chital, Jackal and Indian Gaur are also found in this forest. Kanha is truly a raptor country, with many species of Vultures, Eagles and Hawks soaring over the beautiful Sal forests.

Day 1:Pune-Nagpur
Report at Pune Railway Station.Departure for Nagpur by train (3AC) at 1740 hours. Dinner on board the train. Overnight train journey.

Day 2:Nagpur-Kanha
Reach Nagpur. Packed breakfast and proceeded to Kanha by AC Vehicles. Lunch en-route.
Check-in into the resort at Kanha and rest. In the evening, participants will get to know each other in an introductory session. This will be followed by an interactive orientation session to introduce to the beautiful forest of Kanha. Overnight stay at Kanha.

Day 3:Morning Safari & Jungle Trail with Baiga Tribal People
Experience a morning safari at Kanha National Park, then return to the hotel. After lunch, travel to the nearby Baiga tribal village. Learn about the Baiga tribe's harmonious connection with the forest. Immerse in their primitive lifestyle, music, and dance, shared with our curious young rangers. Explore Baiga village forests with tribal guides, delving into herbal medicine, hunting techniques, and their unique relationship with nature. Participate in cultural activities like dance, music, and storytelling. Visit the Kanha Sarai Art Gallery for insights into India's cultural diversity. Return to the resort for an overnight stay at Kanha.

Day 4:Morning and Evening Safari
Explore different parts of Kanha on morning and evening safaris. A knowledge-sharing session with the group in the evening, in addition to a special screening of a wildlife documentary, to learn more about the wildlife seen during our safaris.

Day 5:Kanha-Nagpur
Early morning wake-up call. Depart for Nagpur with a packed breakfast. Reach Nagpur by noon for lunch. Post lunch, board the train back to Pune at 3 pm.

Day 6: Arrival at Pune
Reach Pune station at 0630 hrs.
