Experience and Discover - a 6 days program - is a well-crafted experience to ensure that young minds are exposed to various fields of development. I Discover with Foliage Outdoors offers a first-hand experiential learning opportunity to young children. We have handpicked experiences that are hard to get at school or on family holidays. Our team of mentors will guide the children while they discover newer horizons around Pune. The experiences during the day will expand their understanding of a variety of domains.
Young Scientist - A visit to a Science centre to immerse in various experiments and fun. Children will understand scientific principles through fun-filled activities at exploratory labs, Space, Emerging Technologies, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, and Innovations all bundled together along with 3-D shows.
Young Ranger - A day to visit a Nature reserve and an animal rescue centre. Children will visit a unique natural habitat where humans and wildlife have co-existed for centuries together. Later they will visit an Animal rescue centre to understand the man-animal conflict. They will enrich themselves with the knowledge of how to rescue wildlife that ventures into urban areas.
Young Gourmet - A day spent at various Food Processing Units. Children will learn how food is made at a large scale and how automation works. They will visit units that make Cheese, Honey, Jams, syrups, Jellies and our own Bakarwadi.
Young Agronomer - A day to witness technological developments in the field of agriculture and see what progressive farmers do differently and run sustainable and prosperous Agricultural units.
Young Explorer - A day dedicated to visiting the extraordinary architecture of ancient times. Children will be oriented about the ancient times when such marvellous structures were envisaged and built with very little technology and primitive resources.
Young Geologist - A day dedicated to visiting Geological wonders around Pune. The largest Potholes of Asia, Stalactites and Stalagmites laden limestone caves, Plant Fossils, The only known naturally formed bridge in Basalt Rock and a Geological museum.

Day 1 - Young Scientist - A Day Visit to a Science Center
0630 hrs Reporting at Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud
0645 hrs Depart for the Science Center with breakfast enroute.
1000 hrs Reach the Science Center. Engage in various experiments and fun-filled activities at exploratory labs, Space, Emerging Technologies, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, and Innovations to understand scientific principles.
1300 hrs Lunch.
1400 hrs Proceed to an ultra Hitech dairy farm and modern chemical analysis laboratory.
1600 hrs Depart for Pune
1830 hrs Return back to Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud

Day 2 - Young Ranger - A Day Visit to a Nature reserve and a Rescue Center
0630 hrs Reporting at Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud
0645 hrs Depart for the Sacred Forest.
0800 hrs Reach the base and have breakfast.
0930 hrs Trek to a Sacred Forest and discover a unique natural habitat where humans and wildlife have co-existed for centuries together.
1130 hrs Return to the base and engage in some fun and learning activities.
1300 hrs Lunch.
1400 hrs Proceed to the Rescue Center.

1000 hrs Visit a Bee-keeping centre and learn about the process of rearing Honeybees and processing honey.
1130 hrs Reach the Cheese Factory. Understand the process of making cheese. Our mentors will facilitate the process of learning. Further, the children will visit a Jam, Jelly, Syrup making unit.
1230 hrs Lunch.
1330 hrs Proceed to the Bakarwadi making unit.
1500 hrs Observe and know about how automation works for a large-scale processing of a unique food product while maintaining the top-notch quality.
1700 hrs Depart for Pune
1800 hrs Return back to Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud

Day 4 - Young Agronomer - A Day Visit to a modern agrotech centre and Dairy.
0630 hrs Reporting at Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud
0645 hrs Depart for the agrotech centre with breakfast enroute.
1000 hrs Reach the agrotech centre. Our facilitators will help the children discover the progressive world of modern agrotechnology. Children will visit Poly house farming where the most modern - controlled farming - techniques are deployed. Soil analysis laboratory, Biopesticides and biofertilizers, Pest control via trapping, Plant health clinic, Seed preservation, Hydroponics, Fisheries, Tissue Culture, Horticulture, Saplings Nursery and much more.
1300 hrs Lunch.
1400 hrs Proceed to the Center of Excellence of Dairy.
1430 hrs Discover the world of modern dairy farming. Children will visit a modern analytical laboratory, Animal farm and milk processing units.
1600 hrs Depart for Pune
1830 hrs Return back to Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud

Day 5 - Young Explorer - A day to see the extraordinary architecture of ancient times.
0645 hrs Reporting at Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud.
0700 hrs Depart for the ancient Buddhist caves with breakfast enroute.
0900 hrs Reach the Buddhist caves. Explore the caves and observe the extraordinary architecture of ancient times. Children will be oriented about the ancient times when such marvellous structures were envisaged and built with very little technology and primitive resources.
1100 hrs Proceed to Lohagad Fort
1130 - 1300 hrs Explore Lohagad Fort and learn about the structures of the fortification.
1330 hrs Lunch.
1430 hrs Proceed to the Geological Museum.
1600 hrs Reach the Geological museum. Children will discover the world of rocks, minerals and semi-precious stones.
1800 hrs Return back to Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud

Day 6 - Young Geologist - A day to visit Geological wonders.
0630 hrs Reporting at Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud
0645 hrs Depart for the first Geological destination of the day. Have breakfast enroute.
0945 hrs Reach the site of the Potholes in Kukadi River. Observe and learn about the geology behind the formation of these massive Potholes that are the largest of their kind in Asia.
1100 hrs Proceed to the caves to observe the Stalactites and Stalagmites.
1130 - 1230 hrs Explore the caves area and learn about the geological structures. If time permits we will explore the field to find fossils.
1230 hrs Lunch.
1330 hrs Proceed to the Naturally formed bridge - a unique Geological wonder.
1430 hrs Explore the Natural bridge area and learn about the Geology of the region.
1530 hrs Depart for Pune
1830 hrs Return back to Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud
