Jim Corbett is a name that commands not just respect but awe and respect from the diverse strata of society. The Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve is a tribute to this great hunter-turned-naturalist, whose study of the tiger remains unparalleled. The forest is rich with wildlife of all kinds, be it mammals, reptiles, birds or flora. Corbett never fails to enthral all those who visit this National Park. The impressive Sal forests and the vast grasslands (Chaurs) provide a great opportunity to watch the abundant wildlife from close quarters. The Ramganga river which flows through the park is also home to some rare species like the Gharial, Marsh Crocodile and the Otter. The birdlife itself encourages a visit to this forest. Over 550 species of birds, including wide uncommon varieties can be spotted here.

Getting reservations for the Forest Guest House inside the Corbett Tiger Reserve is extremely difficult. Kindly plan and reserve your booking at least 60 days prior to your departure.
The demand for booking a room at the Dhikala/Gairal Forest Rest House is extremely high. These bookings are given out on a First Come First Served basis. The sooner you plan and book, the more confident you can be of finalising your reservation!

Day 1: Delhi - Ramnagar
Assemble at Delhi Airport at 1130 hrs. Proceed to Ramnagar by Innova/Tempo Traveller. Reach Ramnagar at 1800 hrs. Check in at the resort. Dinner and overnight stay at Ramnagar in a resort.

Day 2: Safaris at Corbett
Check out from the resort and embark on a jeep safari via Dhangarhi gate into the heart of this exhilarating Tiger Reserve. Post the morning safari, check-in at the Forest Department guest house, set in a picturesque location deep inside the forest. Lunch and rest. In the evening, get ready for yet another jeep safari and traverse through the famous grasslands of Dhikala, popularly known as the ‘chaur’. Return to the guest house by evening. A Group Discussion over tea/coffee about the day’s safaris, in the evening. Overnight stay at Forest Guest House inside the Corbett National Park.

Day 3: Safaris at Corbett
The day’s jeep safaris take us to some of the unseen pockets of the Corbett Tiger Reserve, rated as the favourite for wildlife viewing by many of the visitors. A Group Discussion about the day’s safaris, in the evening.
Overnight stay at Forest Guest House inside the Corbett National Park.

Day 4: Safaris at Corbett- Travel to Ramnagar
Enjoy your final morning exploring the Corbett forest. Have breakfast at the forest guest house and check out after that. Depart for Ramnagar with a safari en route. Check-in at the resort in Ramnagar. Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 5: Morning and Evening Safaris at Corbett
Embark on morning and evening safaris in the Corbett Tiger Reserve, exploring different parts of the park.
After dinner, board the train to Delhi at 2200 hrs for an overnight train journey.

Day 6: Travel to Delhi
Arrival at Delhi in the morning. The trip will conclude with a ‘group selfie’ and reliving of some colourful memories from the ‘Land of Roar, Trumpet and Song’!!
