Jawai, in the Pali district of Western Rajasthan, is a remarkable place. The ancient hills are among the last few places where humans and big cats coexist peacefully. The rich river-bottom soil, which for millennia has supported clans of Rajput farmers, is broken by dramatic solitary hills, stark uninhabited granite peaks. And in the hills live dozens of leopards, predators who by day watch the humans go about their business, and by night come down to hunt. Yet in Jawai no human has been harmed by a leopard for over 150 years. Perhaps nowhere else in the world do humans and big cats live in such proximity with so little friction.

Itinerary

Day 1: Ahmedabad - Bera
Assemble at Ahmedabad Airport at 06:00 hrs. From there, we will depart for Bera, which will take approximately 5 hours. Post-lunch, we will embark on our first safari. Overnight stay in a luxury tented camp near Bera.

Day 2: Safaris at Bera
Explore the stunning landscapes of Bera on morning and evening safaris. Overnight stay in a luxury tented camp near Bera.

Day 3: Safaris at Bera
Similar to the previous day, we will have both morning and evening safaris in Bera, giving you more opportunities to spot wildlife and enjoy the natural beauty of the region. Overnight stay in a luxury tented camp near Bera.

Day 4: Bera - Ahmedabad
On this day, we will have a morning safari followed by breakfast. Thereafter, we will transfer you back to Ahmedabad airport, with a lunch break en route. We expect to reach Ahmedabad by 1800 hrs, marking the end of our services.
