Camp Details

Day 1
Leave Pune for Delhi by train at 1615 hrs.
Day 2
Reach H. Nizammuddin by 1705 hrs. Proceed post-dinner by train to Ramnagar at 2240 hrs. by 5013 Ranikhet Express.
Day 3
Reach Ramnagar by 0500 hrs. Proceed to campsite at Corbett. Evening jeep safari in Corbett Tiger Reserve. Overnight at campsite at Corbett.
Day 4
Nature trails and Jeep safari in Corbett (Sitabani). Overnight at campsite at Corbett.
Day 5
Proceed to Corbett National Park via Dhangarhi gate. Jeep Safaris in forests of Dhikala. Overnight stay inside Corbett National Park.
Day 6
Jeep Safaris, in Dhikala. Proceed to Nainital. En-route visit Jim Corbett's residence at Kaladhungi. Overnight at Nainital.
Day 7
Visit to Snow View point, Boating at Naini Lake. Departure to Delhi by Ranikhet Express from Kathgodam at 2040 hrs.
Day 8
Reach Delhi at 0410 hrs. Leave for Pune by Jhelum express at 1020 hrs.
Day 9
Arrival at Pune by 1435 hrs.

About Destination

Jim Corbett, the name commands respect, awe and admiration from diverse strata of society. Corbett Tiger Reserve is a tribute to this great hunter turned naturalist, whose study of the tiger is till date unrivalled. Corbett is definitely one of the most wildlife rich reserves in the country. Be it Mammals, Reptiles, Birds or Flora, Corbett never fails to amaze those lucky individuals who get to visit this great National Park. The impressive Sal forests and the huge grasslands (Chaurs), provide a great opportunity to watch the abundant wildlife from close quarters.

The Ramganga river which flows through the park is home to some rare species like the Gharial, Marsh Crocodile and the Otter. The birdlife itself merits a visit to these forests. Over 550 species of birds, including many uncommon varieties can be spotted in these forests. The camp will culminate with a visit to Nainital and also Kaladhungi, the winter residence of Jim Corbett, which now has an interesting museum containing details of his hunting expeditions.

Charges Include : - Accommodation at Corbett National Park and Nainital in dormitories and rest houses. - Train travel from Pune - Delhi - Pune by Non AC Three Tier Sleeper Class. - Train travel from Delhi - Ramnagar – Kathgodam - Delhi by Non AC Three Tier Sleeper Class. - All transportation charges (including local transport) - All game rides within Corbett Tiger Reserve. - All Food charges (breakfast, lunch & dinner) at Delhi and Corbett National Park. - All entry fees. - Guide Charges. - Government Service Tax.
