Camp Details

Day 1
Departure to Mysore by train at 0930 hrs.
Day 2
Arrival at Mysore at 0505 hrs. Post breakfast, departure to Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Evening Jeep Safari in Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Overnight stay at resort at Bandipur.
Day 3
Nature walk in the Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Departure to Kabini River Lodge after breakfast. Arrival at Kabini River Lodge. Evening Jeep Safari in Nagarahole National Park. Overnight stay at resort at Kabini.
Day 4
Morning and evening safaris at Kabini. Overnight at resort at Kabini.
Day 5
Morning safari at Kabini. Departure to Mysore. Overnight at Mysore.
Day 6
Departure for Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary at 0700 hrs. Visit to Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary and Boat Rides. Proceed to Bangalore by train at 1420 hrs. Departure to Bangalore at 2010 hrs.
Day 7
Reach Pune by 1545 hrs.

About Destination

Undoubtedly one of the best places in the world to see the Asian Elephant, the Kabini reservoir is witness to a great spectacle, where huge congregations of Elephants and other big game converge to quench their thirst. Other wildlife like Gaur, Sambar, Deer, Wild Boar and Giant Squirrel are sighted easily. Tiger, Leopard & Wild Dog make up the major predators list. For birdwatchers it is a treat with over 300 species found in these forests.

Rated amongst the best-protected areas in the country, Bandipur is one of the prime wildlife areas of the world. Bordering the forests of Tamil Nadu & Kerala, it lies in the huge patch of forest known as the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.

Visit is also scheduled to the Ranganthittu bird -sanctuary to observe various nesting water birds and basking Marsh Crocodiles.
