About Destination

The much-awaited Foliage Outdoors  “Kenya Safari” is finally here. The same great parks, excellent lodging & food, teeming wildlife are now on offer with the irresistible combination of Foliage Outdoors in-house experts and handpicked local guides.

A pride of lions lazing in the grasslands, A Cheetah chasing its quarry at break-neck speed, antelopes taking graceful leaps, herds of marching African Elephants and a multitude of colorful birds showing off are just some of the non-stop action moments you can expect at Kenya.

A brief introduction of our destinations is given below.

MASAI MARA

Arguably one of the most popular parks of the world, the plains of Masai Mara bordering Serengeti are host to one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on the planet during the months of July-September. Thousands of Wildebeest and other animals annually cross the Mara River in search of the greener pastures in Kenya. Even during the non-migration months the Mara remains one of the most high wildlife density areas in Kenya.

SAMBURU

Relatively less visited yet one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Kenya, it is home to some species of wildlife which is rarely seen elsewhere like the Reticulated Giraffes, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and many more. The scrub desert landscape along with luxuriant growth along the river can be ideal spots for sighting the crocodiles as well as Leopards.

LAKE NAKURU

Images of Lakes with “pink” edges are almost invariably from this magnificent water body in the Great Rift Valley. Even though smaller in area compared to the other massive Kenyan parks, Nakuru still has fantastic wildlife sightings as well as great photographic opportunities. The acacia forest and rocky slopes provide excellent habitats for many species including the White Rhino. The sight of thousands of pink Flamingoes feeding on the lake’s shores is of course magical.

ABERDARE

Strikingly different from some of the other Kenyan parks, Aberdare landscape ranges from plateau forest to dense rainforests. Sighting wildlife in this lush and dense landscape can be difficult but our lodge superbly situated on the edge of a waterhole provides excellent opportunity to observe wildlife coming for a drink all day and night. All these you can enjoy form the luxury and comfort of your hotel room. An unforgettable experience!!

So, join us on this exciting wildlife adventure of the Great Kenyan Safari and we promise you memories to take back for a lifetime. Its not necessary that you be a great wildlife enthusiast to take this trip, because we will make sure that by the end of the trip you become one!

Luxurious Lodging, sumptuous food, comfortable safari vehicles are of course part of the deal, but we are sure the accompaniment of our experienced wildlife expert will be the cherry on the icing.
