Camp Details

Day 1


6.15 am:	Reporting at Foliage Outdoors Office.
7.00 am:	Proceed to Pali Village by private bus. Travel time approx 2 hours.
9:00 am:	Reach Pali Village.Have breakfast.
10:00 am:	Start the trek to the fort.Climb time approx 2 hrs.
11:30 am:	The fort has good fortification as well as great views from the top. Reach top of the fort.
12:00 noon:	Have lunch.
1:30 pm:	Explore the fort get to know the history.
3:00 pm:	Start descending the fort.
5:00 pm:	Reach base village.
5:30 pm:	Start journey back to Pune.
7:30 pm:	Back to Pune.

about fort rajgad: literally meaning King of forts, is one of the most impressive forts of Maharashtra state in India. Situated in the Pune district, the fort is approximately 4250 feet above sea level.Formerly known as Murumdev, it was capital of the Maratha Kingdom (Hindavi Swarajya) ruled by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for almost 26 years, after which he moved to Raigad and made that his capital.
The fort is 42 km to the south west of Pune, about 15?16 km west of Nasrapur, in the Sahyadris range.
