Camp Details

Day 1
Leave Pune for New Delhi by 2629 Sampark Kranti Express at 0755 hrs.
Day 2
Reach Delhi (H. Nizammuddin) at 0925 hrs. Proceed to Rishikesh by Ujjaini Exp 4309 by 1130 hr. Reach Haridwar by 1647 hrs. Proceed to Rishikesh. Stay at Rishikesh on multiple sharing basis.
Day 3
Drive to Harsil by Sumo Jeeps 256 km (8 hours). Dinner & overnight at Harsil (~ 8646 ft
Day 4
Full day at Harsil Acclimatization Day. Overnight stay in Tents.
Day 5
Harsil – Bhankari (~ 9500 ft)(Trek 07 Kms)
Day 6
Bhankari – Gangnani (~ 10250 ft) (Trek 05 Kms)
Day 7
Gangnani – Bhautasaur (~ 12500 ft) (Trek 05 Kms)
Day 8
Height Gain upto Kyarkoti Lake (~ 12350 ft) (Trek 07 Kms). Crossing a pass at ~15000 ft. Overnight at Bhautasaur (~ 12500 ft)
Day 9
Bhautasaur – Bhankari (Trek 11 Kms)
Day 10
Bhankari – Harsil (Trek 07 Kms)
Day 11
Leave for Rishikesh from Harsil .Overnight journey by train 4042 to Delhi.
Day 12
Arrival at Delhi. Proceed to Pune by Goa express 2780 at 1500 hrs
Day 13
Arrival at Pune by 1630 hrs

About Destination

This summer we will explore one of the most remote corners of Garhwal Himalayas. KYARKOTI LAKE in TAKNAUR VALLEY is one of the most beautiful jewels in Himalaya. The trek comprises of daily trekking of about 5-7 kms. Winding pathway along cascading streams lead to beautifully located campsites. Rated as ‘easy’ by Himalayan standards, this is the trek for beginners and families who wish to beat the heat in the lap of Himalayas.

Charges Include : - Travel from Pune – Delhi - Pune by train (Non Ac 3 tire Sleeper class). - Delhi – Haridwar – Delhi by 3 tier sleeper non A/C railway. - Surface transport from Rishikesh to Harsil and back. - All food charges (breakfast, lunch & dinner) Ex - Delhi. - Accommodation in tents at Harsil and during trek.at campsite on multiple sharing basis. Separate accommodation for boys and girls. - Government Service Tax.
Charges Do Not Include : - Porterage or Mule hire charges - Food during train journey. - Mineral water / cold drinks. - Any expenses of personal kind, medical expenses in incurred. - Any other charges not mentioned in "The charges include"
